Bullying is a BIG Problem

Three-Quarters of all Students say they have been victims.

What can you do to make your school a bully-free zone? It is going to take an all-out effort. This means from the principal to teachers to the custodian and all students must come together to say as a collective group that our school will not tolerate bullying in any form. Often anti-bullying programs loose steam over time and with a lack of follow-up, the problem resurfaces with frustrated students & parents.

Then, there must be follow-up. If a staff member sees a problem later, but sweeps it under the rug, it will only creep back into the community.

When one student injures another student, whether physically or through verbal abuse, we have a duty as adults, parents, and educators to protect and care for them. Students will not reach their full potential unless we create a safe learning environment.
